how would you do 3d art like this? and isn't e i4:1 the same as dragonback?

Not exactly. If you wanted to use the same terminology, I4-1 is Euro-Persian Hybrid (aka Persian Dragonscale) except that you'd use Half Persian 2-1 instead of 3-1. If you take EPH and rotate the HP3-1 chains 90°, then you'd get Dragonback.

So I4-1 is 2 steps away from Dragonback I suppose.
