It's so beautiful! It's incredibly shiny! That's such a good thing.

Oh!!! By the way, take a look at my work if you ever get the chance! It wont take you too long to go look at it. I also love your tutorial site, could you post more on your gallery on the new site?

how would you do 3d art like this? and isn't e i4:1 the same as dragonback?

Not exactly. If you wanted to use the same terminology, I4-1 is Euro-Persian Hybrid (aka Persian Dragonscale) except that you'd use Half Persian 2-1 instead of 3-1. If you take EPH and rotate the HP3-1 chains 90°, then you'd get Dragonback.

So I4-1 is 2 steps away from Dragonback I suppose.

pretty close though, they look very similar to me. So what did you think of my maille, or have you not gone to look?

Looks pretty solid. Might want to tighten up some of the closures, but it looks good.

This is gorgeous, I do both chainmaille and 3D imaging, but would have never thought of combining them like this! I'm glad you included your URL on the image, because it looks like you have some really great maille tutorials on there as well. I would love to see you do a Maya tutorial too, since I'm new to the program and would be intrigued to learn what settings you use to get such great renders. Keep up the great work!
